Eligibility Criteria
Each applicant:
1). Should be at least M.A. / M.Sc. or equivalent
2). Should be aged less than 57 years on the closing date for the submission of applications.
3). Should have Punjab Domicile.
4). Should be:-
A Civil Servant including APUG, Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). Government of Punjab working in BS-19/20 and above,
OR
An employee of public sector organization, including higher education institutions, in BS-20 or above.
5). Should have at least 08 years of non-teaching or managerial or administrative experience.
Those candidates who have already availed / served as Chairman, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education for 05 years or more including the period as additional charge of the position are not eligible to apply.
TENURE AND PAY:
Tenure: The term of appointment will be for a period of three years or till the superannuation of the officer whichever is earlier.
Pay: A special allowance “CHAIRMAN RISE ALLOWANCE” equal to one basic pay of his/her pay in addition to pay and allowances as are admissible in his/her own pay and scale.
Terms and conditions of service shall be settled separately.
